Minnie Driver arrives at a Leicester Square Film Premier in Central London

A London girl this one and she has been in some big name films.. She is famous for Circle of Friends.  cult classic Grosse Pointe Blank; Good Will Hunting (for which she was nominated for both the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and a Screen Actors Guild Award) the musical The Phantom of the Opera and Owning Mahowny. This photo was taken in the very very early days of my Celebrity Photography career. Still had the L Plates on  in celebrity photography experience terms.  Been doing it about seven months, I think it took about nine months before the L plates were officially torn up. Left the horrific watermark on. What on earth? As they say....you have to start somewhere?

Most people would look at this photo and say it is pretty good especially photographing people on the move and getting those arms and legs in the right place. but it has problems.

PROBLEMS: Minnie Driver partially blocked from view, premier official and Minnie both looking the other way, premier official boots partially cut off. A tad under exposed as in the main subject. Being ruthless here, but this is what the media would do. Not a seller on the night, but good enough to go on a blog.........so here it is.

This archive photo was taken of  Minnie Driver at the European Film Premiere of I Give It a Year held at the West End Vue Cinema in Leicester Square, London on 24 January 2013. Images taken on the night included  portrait and close up head shots plus other candids of other stars. Despite its faults this photo is my fave...... it has got something going on?
