Zara Martin

Zara Martin features as Part 7 of the Beautiful Female Celebrities photo series featuring Female Celebrity Photos taken by myself Frank John at various locations and events. A sort of Top 20 with no particular ranking. I photographed A Listers right through to those starting out and Zara Martin for me was somebody that stood out in the beauty department and hence why she is here.

Background

Name: Zara Martin Occupation: Model, Actress,DJ, TV Presenter, Entrepreneur

She is not an A lister (so what) is reasonably known in the UK probably for her modelling work and for being a TV Presenter. She is a fairly prominent model signed up to the Storm agency. This is the agency that discovered Kate Moss and represents other models such as Cara Delevingne, Lily Cole, and Jourdan Dunn. She has 110K followers on Insta compared to my measly just over 1K followers and she is a London girl born and bred. She is a bit of a business woman as well and has a headphone range called the Zara Martin Bling range and she is an Ambassador for the Women for Women International cause.

The Photo and Behind the Scenes

This set of photos were taken at London Fashion Week at Somerset House using the up close and personal technique which was my trademark, she seemed to enjoy the attention so it was a match made in heaven and what do you do as a photographer when presented with this opportunity....... you snap away. I think she picked up pretty quickly that this guy really loves the ladies. Not the best backgrounds in the world and taken with no flash so there is no popping out of a darker background which was also my trademark, but she is there, she is smiling and it's full on stuff. We certainly have her attention and we have a serious connection here. Got her arriving, I think just a couple of photographers jumped onto her..... but on the way out there were many more. She is about thirty or thirty one in these pictures and now she is forty one and still looking good.

Somewhere i do have her at another London Fashion week event a year before or after dressed in Black Lace. Can't find them but she does appear on the main website at Frank John on the home page she is next to Lady Gaga in white on the film strip about a third of the way down.

The Look

Smouldering is the word I would use....simply smouldering. Another stunner of the brunette mould with eyes to match that you can get lost in, I think she knows she is a cracker, but she is pretty chilled out about it. To be a model you have to have something going on in the looks department and she certainly has something going on. As she is not a massive name she was easier to photograph than most A Listers. I don't know why she reminds me of Monica Belucci and you could say she is London's answer to that mega name in the global beauty stakes. That's a compliment if ever there was.

Personality

She seemed pretty laid back on the surface and is one of these smile through the eyes types, she smiles but not the with big grins but more the subtle smile and her eyes seem to be alive with a smile all of their own. I like her style, she again has impeccable taste and makeup, yes she uses it but mostly neutral stuff, another woman that doesn't need to go mad in the make up department. She probably knows it can achieve the reverse effect........... if you are as good looking as this.

Not much more to add really, in the two times I have met and photographed her she lets her beauty do the talking........... and leaves it at that. Can't argue with that can you!
