Background

Name: Michelle Keegan Occupation: Actress and Entrepreneur

Famous for her role as Tina McIntyre in the TV Soap Coronation Street she has a huge following this one of 7.5M on Insta..... more than Maria Sharapova but she would be the first to admit she is not an A Lister but is fully worthy of the title celebrity.

She hails from up North as in Stockport, Greater Manchester and currently lives in the Epping Forest area in Essex on the outskirts of London but I would hazard a guess is probably proud of her Mancunian roots.

She has appeared in various other TV roles, had a Theatre role but her Coronation Street role as Tina McIntyre is a hard image to shake off and her National Treasure status has been derived from that role I would say.

She has won numerous awards including Sexiest Female at the Inside Soap Awards many years running, TV Choice Awards Best Newcomer then Best Actress in the following years. In the FHM Top 100 Beautiful women for a number of years in the Top 30 of 100 and won it in 2015. The Sun Newspaper rated her as the Sexiest woman in Showbiz in 2021.

ared for Very campaign by JPPS Productions recently in 2024. She is a bit of a business women and has Rosia Promotions and Mysa (Active) at wearemysa.com a clothing business she runs with her husband Mark Wright. Looks Swedish but it's her... checked at Companies House UK.

Another woman that is switched on and realises that as popular as she is, the celebrity game is very fickle, what's in vogue one minute is relegated to the waste bin the next, best to have other irons in the fire.....and this she has.

The Photo and Behind the Scenes

I have met and photographed Michelle 3 times. Once at an Awards Event at a nightclub in Soho ,hair slicked back (can't find it but I do have it) very close up, second one was at the British Soap Awards at the Hackney Empire in Hackney, London..... got her just at the entrance waving and smiling with the British Soap Awards sign right next to her (can't find it but I do have it again) and the last one is this set here.

She was at London Fashion Week arriving for a Fashion Event (can't remember the designer) at Somerset House dressed in cream and beige with hair down. The first shot is her arriving walking through the crowds with people looking "what the hell is going on". A different shot here sort of at 45 degree angle (about 8-10 other photographers were snapping at the same time).

Second shot is when she was leaving. Think I was waiting at the entrance with a couple of other photogs not for her but the next batch of celebrity arrivals when she turned up at the entrance and stopped with us waiting for a London Fashion Week Black Merc to pick her up.

We had a quick chat, she was within hugging distance , I think I asked her when the wedding was (she was recently engaged) and asked any chance of seeing the ring and taking a shot" She showed it and this is the shot I got. Technically not great and certainly not a seller but a bit of behind the scenes. Her car turned up and then she was gone and I'm just left standing there looking at the back of my screen with other photogs looking over my shoulder. This was taken on a cold and miserable February, natural light (not much of that) and no flash so low shutter speed hence the slight blur.

She is about 28 in these photos, she is now 38 and again still looks incredibly good.

The Look

The Michelle Keegan look? This woman has multiple looks from my experience. If you check her Insta she can rock the "girl next door" look and the next minute be dazzling in red carpet attire and then wear a number that is cutting edge and out there the following day. Can't really pigeon hole this one.. As attractive as she is, she doesn't need make up but she does love using it, not heavily but enough that it notices. Maybe a Northern thing. Here at London Fashion Week it's not the red carpet but you have to have something casual but eye-catching and she certainly is here and from her appearance this is not something she just threw on in a couple of minutes, this was all carefully co-ordinated and took hours to get right and the results speak for themselves. That's the catch of being a celebrity, you can't pop out for a pint of milk with no make up in your jim jams and hopefully nobody will notice. Photographers and the general public are watching all the time and she is acutely aware of that fact.

Personality

She's an actress through and through this one, so it is difficult to comment on her personality. The role she plays as Tina McIntyre could be her real personality but her life is no reflection of that role she played. That character was feisty and going from one disastrous relationship to another. In real life she is the reverse and has been in the same marriage with Mark Wright for ten years (since 2015) so absolutely no similarity there whatsoever. From the brief times I have met her, she certainly has a Manchester accent but watered down in her later years, she seems to be pretty down to earth and approachable , which again is a Northern trait. She comes from an ordinary background as she worked as a Sales Assistant in Selfridge's and worked as an Airline Check In Clerk at Manchester Airport before she hit the big time. So I would say despite her huge following and celebrity status she is very much planted on the ground and not up there floating in the clouds.

With regards to her looks, she is definitely aware she is good looking, makes the most of it but I sensed the bottom line is, I'm just a human being like everybody else with good looks for sure but subject to the same rules and things that life will throw at you...good or bad.

She is adaptable this one......... which you need to be in the Entertainment Business for longevity, testament to her she is still around now .............and could be for years to come.
