| Jessica Alba |
Jessica Alba features as Part 6 of the Beautiful Female Celebrities photo series featuring Female Celebrity Photos taken by myself Frank John at various locations and events. A sort of Top 20 with no particular ranking. Is Jessica Alba better than Charli XCX better than Cheryl? Who am I to say!.
Background
Name: Jessica Alba Occupation: Actress, Business Woman
On her Instagram she says "I play make believe for a living". Love it!
Talking of Insta she has 21M followers. Certainly a somebody. Myself in comparison looking today I have just over 1K as in 1078. No comparison really although it does help if you are active on that platform............ which I am not.
She has been acting since the age of 13 and started to hit the bigger time at 19 with her role as Max Guevara in the TV series Dark Angel which led to her having a lead role soon afterwards in the film industry with Honey. Fantastic Four is one of her well known roles along with many others. She plays a lot of these Lara Croft sort of roles devastatingly beautiful and emotionally charged women but toting a machine gun with a "don't mess" attitude.
The Real World Jessica
In the real world. reading her Wiki she comes across as one switched on woman with incredible looks to match. She was married to Cash Warren from 2008 -2025 the Wiki says they are currently separated. Either way 17 years married to the same person as somebody moving in Hollywood circles is quite something certainly in this day and age. She is a business woman as well with various lines under the Honest brand apparently valued at 1 billion. I think she realises that women burn brightly when they are younger and things will fade when you get older especially the roles that she plays and she has other talents as well as acting, better put them to use while your star is burning brightly and in the ascendant. Wise move! She may end up as a Helen Mirren or Judi Dench type acting in her 70's but Hollywood is a tough and ruthless place, maybe she doesn't want to be acting in her 70's.
As you've probably gathered I like this woman. Like her a lot....not just for her incredible looks but her personality and how she has tackled life.

The Photo and Behind the Scenes
I have to say she was a nightmare to photograph. just saying! Was confronted by this woman at my first ever proper event shooting with the pros in the pens. The event was The Glamour Women of the Year Awards held in Berkeley Square, Mayfair, Central London with a huge guest list with some notable A Listers flying all the way from the States to attend including Naomi Watts, Sofia Vergara, Eva Longoria and of course Jessica Alba.
Lets just say I didn't have the first idea what I was doing, I had a terrible spot in the corner right next to the fan pen and the first six celebrity arrivals they were all looking in the other direction. Something had to be done otherwise you will not be doing this ever again, and a change of tactics was required. Seemed to produce much better results but not with this one. She faced straight towards the main throng in the pen, tried to get her to turn and she turned facing my direction but carried on looking in the same direction as before. A sort of "I hear you but I'm looking this way....... OK". even the security guard is looking like "what's wrong with that bloke in the corner" She is there, she's smiling BUT not the seller of the night. You live and learn. These are the only photos I have of this woman, never saw her again in all the time I did this role. Burnt into my brain this memory, still smoking now!
Back in my Celebrity Blogging days I can remember using a photo (don't have it now) from one of the many news agencies that I used to deal with, think it was Pacific Coast News in LA I think, and they had a photo minutes old of her standing next to her BMW X5 (think kids were in the back but not visible) filling up her vehicle at a petrol station in plain T Shirt and jeans maybe ripped.... hair down...totally casual limited make up and still looking absolutely stunning. Lets put that out and see what happens? That article went mental......people are fascinated with the behind the scenes of stars? The real Jessica....she's just like you and me, she's got kids........ and has to fill her car up..... even if it is a BMW X5!

The Look
No machine guns here, no mud on her face, no menacing you are going to die looks either, I would say she is looking very feminine in these photos the exact opposite of the roles she plays. Is she wearing a bra? Who knows? Hair up, delicate jewellery and very glamorous indeed. Most photos you see of her she is a big smiler, she knows she is good looking but I got the impression that she knows looks fade over time, beauty is very fragile, who knows what is around the corner in life terms, enjoy it while it lasts.
As this is the only time I have photographed Jessica Alba can't really comment on how she dresses but from what I have seen when you search her name, she has incredible taste, knows how to show herself off to her best and again is one of those types who doesn't need much in the make up department. She just doesn't!
Personality
From what I saw of her at this event, we are talking 10-15 seconds, she certainly has presence and a aura, she comes across as a polished act certainly worthy of A Lister status. She knows where is she is going and from the limited dealings I had on the red carpet I would say under that angelic beautiful exterior she is quite a determined and dare I say it even stubborn type when the situation arises..... but all done with a smile. But that is just based on the dealings I had in 10-15 seconds in a high pressure situation.
She comes up a lot in the Most Beautiful Female Celebrity lists and now you know why. What more can I say!
More info: Check her Wiki at Wikipedia.org and her Instagram @jessicaalba and her website at: couldn't find one apart from fan sites at .org and .net BUT.. but she has a comprehensive listing on IMDB
