Part 2 of The Beautiful Female Celebrities photo series, featuring female celebrity photos of Tulisa taken by myself Frank John at various locations and events. Not from a photo agency but instead I was actually there behind the camera at close quarters! A sort of Top 20 with no particular ranking. Dangerous thing ranking women in order of beauty...hence why I have avoided!!!!
Background Tulisa Contostavlos or just Tulisa these days has appeared on the main page of this website in pole position and this photo in a black and gold dress is the one I used. She is a looker for sure. Controversial photo this one, I had to crop the photo for that reason but that's Tulisa, I can't really say any more!. Can't figure this one out, she comes across as quite girly/sensitive but other times a bit tomboy or even a whip cracking type. Despite her Celebrity Status I get the feeling she is still very much in touch with her urban roots and is just going through the motions with the Celebrity/Entertainment/Showbiz thing. Maybe not? again I do not know this woman personally. I think even after a 1 hour commercial/studio shoot I still wouldn't be any the wiser.
She is a London Girl from Camden Town and is of Irish/Cypriot Greek decent. Both her parents were creative in a musical way! which would explain the direction she has taken in life and it has paid off, BUT as she is well aware.... Celebrity status brings a whole new set of problems into your life along with the bright lights, armies of followers on social media and admiration and worship from the public at large. Double edged sword so to speak?

The Photo Taken a number of photos of Tulisa 5 or 6 occasions/events including 2 times at the Cosmo Awards, The Sony Radio Academy Music Awards and The Pride of Britain Awards. Got a mobile shot of her in 2011 at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in a pink dress over at my old Tumblr in a blogging capacity rather than as a photographer. (another blog article I think) This one was taken at the Sony Radio Academy Music Awards held at Grosvenor House, Park Lane Mayfair in Central London. She was blowing up at the time as she was made a UK X Factor judge on prime time TV. She mentored Ella Henderson and Little Mix and others.. She was hot stuff during that period.
She is no stranger to Fame and Showbiz as she was part of the group called N-Dubz so celebrity photographers are nothing new to her.
No direct eye contact here she's looking one photographer to her left, the photo still works. Taken in the golden hour just as the sun was setting in the foyer Park Lane entrance of Grosvenor House hence the look. Just a blip of flash is all that was needed to add a bit of zing, highlight the eyes and get rid of any shadows Timing couldn't have been better.
She is in her twenties here in this photo, she is now in her thirties and she looks a bit different now.

The Look Her beauty is mixed heritage with a good dose of mediteranean. Again another individual she goes her own way with regards the fashion thing. She knows how to show herself off. I think she knows she is good looking but doesn't make a big deal about it. For her I'm guessing "it is what it is" is probably her attitude towards it. It looks like she uses make up but neutral stuff and focuses mainly on the eyes and lips going by the photos I have taken of her. She was quite a controversial celebrity at the time and I would say she is a quiet rebel. She has recently appeared on "I'm a Celebrity get me out of here" and there has been some recent musical rumblings which has seen her Instagram following surge.

I've met and photographed her six times including at very close quarters and I can honestly say I still can't fathom her as a person from what I saw in front of me. What's going on at the surface is not necessarily what is going on deep down and internally. Her "waters run deep"....as they say. Could be wrong on this but I don't think so. A woman of many moods ...... more than average. A bit elusive and plays hard to get with the full on eye contact (see her Wikipedia Page and photo taken 2014) but when it happens.....it's certainly full on in no uncertain terms. I think I managed to get her like this once at the Cosmo Awards at the V&A when she was with Ella Henderson in a Yellow dress.
At the time of taking her photos, I know quite a few people when asked about Female Celebrity Beauty in the UK, her name came up A LOT!
